Each year, the TASH Conference strengthens the disability field by connecting attendees to innovative information and resources, facilitating connections between stakeholders within the disability movement, and helping attendees reignite their passion for an inclusive world. This year’s conference theme, “Gateway to Equity,” explores inclusive communities, schools, and workplaces that support people with disabilities, including those with complex support needs, in living a fair, just, and balanced life. Zoubida Pasha

Zoubida has been a Bilingual Parent Trainer/Advocate with Family Resource Center on Disabilities for 5 years. She provides Special Education Rights and Responsibilities trainings and workshops in school districts, in head start programs, various social service agencies, and in other organizations that offer support to families.
Mrs. Pasha is a parent of a child with autism who is receiving Special Education Services in Chicago Public Schools. In addition to her work with Family Resource Center on Disabilities, Mrs. Pasha volunteers with multicultural groups and organizations throughout the state of Illinois and to support/empower families to self-advocate.
