2016 TASH Conference has ended
Each year, the TASH Conference strengthens the disability field by connecting attendees to innovative information and resources, facilitating connections between stakeholders within the disability movement, and helping attendees reignite their passion for an inclusive world. This year’s conference theme, “Gateway to Equity,” explores inclusive communities, schools, and workplaces that support people with disabilities, including those with complex support needs, in living a fair, just, and balanced life. Tyler W. Hampton, CPA (Inactive), is Executive Director of SRVS, Tennessee’s largest provider of services for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. He has a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting and more than 25 years experience in financial management, including budget management, government and community relations and organizational development. Under Tyler’s direction, SRVS closed its sheltered workshop and transition to full, community-based integrated employment for the people supported by SRVS. The transition was completed June 30, 2015 after a two year planning and implementation process with the Employment First State Leadership Mentor Program. Tyler is currently leading SRVS’ entry into managed care services in Tennessee’s new Employment and Community First CHOICES Medicaid benefits and recently served as president of the state’s provider association, TNCO.
