Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

Limited Capacity seats available

The Pathways to Careers (Pathways) initiative provides a bridge that organizations can use to move toward implementation of community, integrated employment. Each aspect of the Pathways initiative was considered in relation to both a set of strategies and values that reflect best and emerging practices in the field of community employment and, at the same time, respond to the concerns of the individuals, support agencies and families. Join us to learn more about how the Pathways initiative provides a systematic blueprint, including the strategies, training and capacity building needed for an agency to successfully provide access to community, integrated employment outcomes to individuals with significant disabilities and plans to expand to additional locations. After this session, participants will be able to: a) summarize the core strategies of the Pathways approach to achieving community integrated employment; b) discuss the capacity building elements and policy linkages in the initiative that lead to sustainability; c) explain the staffing and services structure that facilitates community, integrated employment matched to the career goals and interests of each individual
