This year’s conference theme, “Gateway to Equity,” explores inclusive communities, schools, and workplaces that support people with disabilities, including those with complex support needs, in living a fair, just, and balanced life. Health-Care Decision-Making with People with IDD provides a Gateway to Equity for people with IDD. This presentation discusses issues and answers as per a national workgroup of AUCD. Providers and advocates must support best practice and innovation in supported health-care decision making to enhance self-advocacy for oneŸ??s own health.
